This Saturday 9th February is the final match of the Chiltern League at Campbell Park, Milton Keynes MK9 4AD. We hope you will all come and run on Saturday – we could win some team medals!
If you have not raced in the league this season and plan to come please complete our registration here, preferably by Thursday night.
It is preferred that we pre-allocate numbers by Friday for the final match – so please let us know if you accidentally took your number home and have lost it and need a new one for Saturday or haven’t taken part this season. Even if you previously completed our registration but then were unable to attend please complete the form again – as its our only way of knowing you want to race.
We need a couple of volunteers to manage handing numbers out from 10:30 – 11.55am – so could U11 / U13 parents please come forward to cover this – maybe one at 10.30 – 11.15 and another at 11.15 – 11.55 – so you don’t miss watching your children. Please click here if you are able to help out.
The organisers have asked if we have people willing to marshal the race for one or two hours on the day to contact them. if you are happy to do a slot please email@example.com.
If someone could also arrange with Deborah to take the tent and table – and we will try to get a Strider to bring it back. If you can help with this please click here.
Please arrive one hour before your race time and note that the order of the last three races is different from normal, with the Senior Men’s race at 1:30pm, the U17 Men’s race at 2:30pm and the women at 2:35pm. Arriving early is especially important if this is your first match of the season.
The course is mainly on grassland with some sharp up and downs. Long spikes are advisable. The course is spectator-friendly, but please be aware of pedestrians/dogs/cyclists going through the park. The senior men’s race start will be different from all other starts, due to numbers.
The organising team will be working hard to get results out in time for the presentations at 1pm (U11s and U13s), 2pm (U15s and U17/20 Women) and 4pm (the rest). Please do attend the presentations in the Pavillion – we have a few potential individual and team medals depending on Saturday’s results.
