Hope everyone is enjoying some sunshine and looking forward to summer!

Across the summer we need to make a few changes, so please do read all the following carefully!

Session changes:

Due to schools athletics competitions taking place across the next few weeks and using the track until at least 6.30pm, we have to move the sessions around. PLEASE TAKE NOTE:

In addition to these evening sessions, as we are hosting competitions (please do come and support if not competing!), there will be no Sunday sessions on the following dates:

Sunday May 22nd (SAL competition, U17 and above)

Sunday June 5th (EYAL competition, U13 to U17)

If you have not renewed your membership at www.stalbansac.co.uk/join-renew you need to do so ASAP. From May 1st you will not be able to train or compete for the club unless a current (2022/23) member.

As the outdoor Track and Field season gets underway, and the sessions at the track get busier, we just wanted to remind everyone of a few points:

Please continue to keep your children at home if they have Covid, or you suspect they may have

The sessions are getting busy, and there has been an increase in athletes who would appear less interested in athletics. Please have a chat with your child and just check that they do still want to come. Coaches have given up their time to coach athletes, not negotiate with children who repeatedly don’t want to participate.

Athletes who are injured should not come down to training (unless agreed in advance with coaches)

Please continue to sign up for the Track and Field sessions www.stalbansac.co.uk/training and if you can no longer make it, please cancel your place by emailing

If you are (or have a child) Y10 or above and would like volunteer on Sunday mornings as a young helper, please email

Sessions run throughout all of the school holidays!
Many thanks
