National XC Relays – Mansfield on Saturday 2nd November
Berry Hill Park, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire NG18 4JR

This is a team event for U13’s upwards (i.e. year 7 and above). Each club enters teams of 3 athletes per age group where they each run between 2–3km before handing over to the next athlete in the team. We can enter up to 3 teams per age group – i.e. 9 athletes.

The Senior Men’s team is made up of 4 athletes each running 5km.

Berry Hill Park is a great venue for this event with a complete mix of terrain from grassland to woodland, gentle hills and flat areas and excellent for spectators as you can see the runners at quite a few different parts of the course.

The team entry fees are paid by the club and we will have a coach/bus from Westminster Lodge, St Albans to and from Mansfield for athletes and their supporters. There will be a small contribution requested towards the cost of the transport.

A club coach will also go to Mansfield with the teams to support the course reccie and warm up etc. Please plan for a full day out, returning to St Albans late afternoon.

If you are in Year 7 or above and would like to run please register here by Monday 7th Oct to confirm your availability. If you usually complete for the club but are not available it would be really helpful if you could also complete the form to let us know.

Please confirm your availability by Monday 7th October.

We will try to include as many athletes as possible in the teams we submit and hope to enter at least one team in each age group.

We will advise by who has been selected to run by Friday 18th October.

On a related note, if you would like to run at any of the Chiltern League races please don’t forget to register by clicking here

Finally, all cross country fixtures can be viewed on our Fixtures page.

Many thanks
